The full name of GPS: Navigation Satellite Time and Ranging/Global Positioning System Navigation Satellite Time and Ranging/Global Positioning System, it is divided into three parts: space part, ground control part and user equipment part.
Space part: 24 satellites are distributed in 6 fixed orbits at an altitude of 20200KM, 4 in each orbit.
Ground control part: There is a main control station, 5 global monitoring stations and 3 ground control stations. They provide satellites with accurate satellite orbits and clock parameters.
User equipment part and GPS receiver. The main function is to capture some information of the satellite and calculate the latitude, longitude, altitude, speed and time of the user's position. The receiver consists of a receiving unit and an antenna unit, while the user equipment consists of receiver hardware and built-in software (map...).
The GPS receiving module is serial output. The receivers on the market have USB interface, PS2 interface, and RS232 interface. You can choose your own equipment according to your needs.
